Join us at the Rio Tinto Stadium to fill backpacks of essential school supplies for low-income and refugee students. Mark your calendars now as we celebrate 25 years of Day of Caring. Groups big and small can connect with projects in Davis, Salt Lake, Summit, and Tooele county that include beautification, cleanup, and client interaction and support. Dr. Seuss Day: March 2, 2018
Each year on Dr. Seuss Day, also known as National Read across America Day, students and teachers celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday. In 2017, United Way of Salt Lake partnered with 17 schools across Salt Lake and Davis Counties, engaging 253 volunteers who read with students and led literacy activities in classrooms! Thank you, volunteers! Look for information about the 2018 event later this year.
