How can you get involved?
Day of Action: June 24
Change a life, change a school, change a community.
United Way of Salt Lake's Day of Action is a fun and meaningful volunteer event for companies, community groups, families, and individuals! On June 24, join hundreds of volunteers in Midvale to assemble kits for students, complete cleaning projects, connect with residents, and more! After volunteering, celebrate your hard work with food and festivities!
Stuff the Bus: August 27
Family-friendly Volunteer Event: Stuff the Bus!
Many children lack the supplies they need to enter the classroom ready to learn. This year, help United Way of Salt Lake Stuff the Bus with school supplies for more than 11,000 students, most of whom are from low-income families. Join hundreds of volunteers on Saturday, August 27 to stuff more than 6,000 backpacks with supplies at this fun, family-friendly event. Can't make the event? Consider hosting a school supply drive. Contact email@example.com or 801.746.2566 for more details.
Day of Caring is back!
Grab your friends and coworkers and put your passion and skills to work on Wednesday, August 31. Or, bring the kids for a family-friendly volunteer celebration with Stuff the Bus on Saturday, August 27. Join more than 4,500 volunteers on projects ranging from stuffing backpacks and reading to kids in classrooms to outdoor maintenance, landscaping and painting. We're also taking submissions for projects. Schools, churches, nonprofit and government agencies are invited to host a project this year.
