Once you’ve decided your organization is ready to partner with United Way 2-1-1 Volunteer Center click on the link below to set up your account and post your organizations volunteer opportunities. Our team is available to answer questions and assist in the sign up process.
1. Setting Up an Account
Setting up your account can take as few as 15 minutes. If you’re ready to start promoting your organization and its volunteer opportunities please click on “register now” to get started.
2. Promoting Volunteer Opportunities
United Way 2-1-1 Volunteer Center provides multiple ways to promote your volunteer opportunities in the community including posting on Volunteer Solutions, inclusion on one or more of our resource lists and through local newspaper listings. For tips to help you create an opportunity that calls attention to itself check out our Resources on Recruiting and our Ten Recruiting Tips.
3. Get Connected
United Way 2-1-1 Volunteer Center partner organizations are able to take advantage of opportunities throughout the year to get connected with other volunteer managers by participating in trainings, workshops, networking opportunities and more. Visit our Tools & Training page for details on upcoming trainings and workshops.
4. Special Projects
United Way 2-1-1 Volunteer Center offers additional ways for partner organizations to get involved throughout the year including special events, days of service and one-time and ongoing group volunteer opportunities.
Sometimes volunteers, groups or businesses have gently used items they would like to donate to organizations in need. Partner organizations registered on Volunteer Solutions can add listings of items your organization needs.
