Trailside Elementary Community School

Trailside Elementary became a Community School in 2011. Trailside and McPolin Elementary Schools were added as Community Schools when United Way saw an opportunity to have all four Park City elementary schools be Community Schools.

Trailside has a total of 526 students, and has the smallest percent of minority students of all the Park City elementary schools at just over 10 percent.

People’s Health Clinic provides medical and dental services for students and families who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford it and Big Brothers Big Sisters provides mentors for students. New for this school year will be an AmeriCorps member focusing on tutoring students in English language skills, with programming expanded into the school day.
