Statewide UTah CASA Program
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Volunteers are appointed by a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) attorney to advocate for the best interests of abuse and neglected children. CASAs agree to commit to serve for one year and to visit with the child at least twice a month and spend an average of 8 hours a month on the case. The primary responsibilities of a CASA are to gather information, document findings, appear in/attend court, monitor case plans and court orders, keep the attorney informed and visit with the child. A child’s voice. A child’s life. Lifted up. By you.
