Spring has sprung and summer
is just around the corner!
United Way 2-1-1 Volunteer Center invites kids 5 - 18, to get up, get out, and make a difference this summer by signing up for Summer of Service! Whether it’s participating in the UWSL sponsored volunteer event or coming up with a creative way to help our community, kids can make a difference!
Summer of Service participants volunteer throughout the summer to earn bronze, silver, or gold-level recognition, based on their number of service hours. Sign up your kids or grandkids today by completing our Summer of Service Registration Form!
Once you have enrolled in Summer of Service, start looking for the right volunteer opportunity for you! Need help coming up with ideas? Use our Volunteer Opportunities Listing to get a sense of where your help is needed in our community! When you start volunteering, don't forget to keep track of your service hours in your Summer of Service Journal and submit this to our Volunteer Events Coordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org, so that we can recognize your excellent work!
