Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Rebecca Dutson serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for United Way of Salt Lake. Rebecca oversees the organization's administration, resource development, and marketing. She is responsible to innovate, develop, and strengthen internal systems which support the growth necessary to meet United Way’s mission. She previously served as Vice President, Resource Development. Prior to joining United Way in 1991, Rebecca worked for First Security Bank. Rebecca is recognized for her leadership at the national level. She recently completed two terms as a member of the United Way Worldwide Inclusion Council and was the convener of the Women’s Business Resource Group. She is a frequent presenter on resource development at national and regional conferences. As a member of the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors, Rebecca takes an active leadership role in the community. In 2006, Rebecca was highlighted in Utah Business magazine's Forty Under 40 issue. Rebecca received her B.S. from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business. She is an accomplished violinist and pianist. She and her husband, Rulon, enjoy two wonderful daughters.
