FamilyWize Prescription Drug Savings Program
FamilyWize is a community service partnership established and coordinated by Membership Services Corporation. All of the organizations, agencies and companies involved in the FamilyWize partnership have pooled resources to help people with no prescription coverage lower their cost of medicine.
161,000 people in the Salt Lake Area are unable to access medications they need and 42% of low income individuals do not fill a prescription given to them due to financial reasons. The cost of brand name drugs nearly doubled between 2000 and 2003 rising from $33.76 to $60.00
The FamilyWize partnership is committed to reducing the cost of medicine for children, families and individuals with no prescription drug coverage by $100 million in five years. Over 320 United Way's in 49 states and Puerto Rico are participating in the FamilyWize Discount Prescription Card program.
IT'S FREE: This is a free resource for those without prescription drug coverage. Use the FamilyWize card to start saving money on your prescription drugs today! This resource is made available through United Way of Salt Lake and the FamilyWize community service partnership.

IT'S EASY: Simply present your card and prescription to a participating pharmacy to obtain the discounted price. You always receive the lower of the discounted price or pharmacy's retail price.
NO RESTRICTIONS: You can use the card as often as you need, for any prescription for everyone in your family. There is no income limit, age requirement, eligibility or registration required and no maximum allowable. However, the FamilyWize card cannot be used with any other prescription card.
