18th Annual Day of Caring

The United Way Day of Caring encompasses more than 2,600 volunteers from 100+ local companies engaged in working to make our community stronger and better for us all.  Volunteers spend 13,000 total hours completing more than 140 one-day service projects in Davis, Salt Lake, Summit, and Tooele counties to benefit United Way of Salt Lake’s Community Partners. These volunteer efforts reach thousands of our community’s most vulnerable citizens and help to improve their lives.

Overview of Event

The Day of Caring begins at a kick-off breakfast at The Gateway with live entertainment for all sponsors and volunteer participants from 7:30-9:00 a.m. This annual event continues to generate a high level of participation and media exposure.
