Danya Pastuszek is the Vice President of Strategy and Learning for United Way of Salt Lake. Working with the management team, Danya supports the overall implementation of USWL’s work. She works with a talented team focused on accessing and using data to improve outcomes for communities. She supports an emerging learning strategy aimed at building the capability of local partners to work together to achieve lasting solutions.
Prior to joining UWSL in 2012, Danya worked first in refugee resettlement and later in workforce development, primarily with individuals formerly involved in the criminal justice system. Danya holds a Bachelor’s degree in English, a Master’s in Psychology from Stanford University, and an MBA from New York University. Danya enjoys cycling, writing, and being outdoors with her husband, John, and their kind and curious toddler, Sasha.
