- Support the necessary time to plan and run a workplace campaign hold employee educational meetings, committee meetings, special events, etc.
- Pledge a corporate gift and/or consider a 1:1 match
- Speak at rallies, events, and meetings
- Send a personal e-mail or letter to employees (find a sample letter in the Tool Box)
Recruit and train your planning committee
A planning committee will help you bring ideas and enthusiasm from different departments. Invite your Community Investment Advisor to attend your meetings to help train and educate your committee.
- Include representatives from all areas of the company who are energetic, organized and well-liked by their peers
- Review any previous campaigns and develop a strategy and timeline for reaching your goals
- Delegate responsibilities for the different components of your campaign
Develop a plan and establish a timeline
Good planning is vital to the success of your campaign. Your Community Investment Advisor can help you develop a timeline that you can use to map out your road to success.
- Set your campaign dates for employee meetings, special events and other activities (find a sample timeline in the Tool Box)
- Finalize a plan for distributing and collecting pledge forms
- Consider e-Pledge online giving (e-mail addresses must be provided for al employees)
