The United Way of America Standards of Excellence represent an ideal that local boards of directors and managers can aspire to based on what is feasible and appropriate in their communities. These standards provide concrete guidance and direction as to how United Way of Salt Lake should operate in order to be a more effective community impact leader -- and be recognized as such. By striving toward common expectations of exemplary performace and creating a common, favorable experience for our donor/investors and parters, we can collectively maximze the value of our extraordinary brand. The standards are outlined in the following document.
