Now through April 15, volunteer income tax preparers are ready to help you — and it really is free, with no hidden fees. Visit www.UtahTaxHelp.org today or call 2-1-1 for more information. People with disabilities and veterans welcome!

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program generally offers free tax help to people who make $54,000 or less and need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation to qualified individuals in local communities. They can inform taxpayers about special tax credits for which they may qualify such as Earned Income Tax Credit. VITA sites are generally located at community and neighborhood centers, libraries, schools, and other convenient locations. If your household income is $62,000 or less you qualify to file online for free either at www.UtahTaxHelp.org or a Facilitated Self Assisted site (FSA).

If you have more questions or want to schedule a VITA appointment, simply call us at 2-1-1!
