Women & Education:
A critical issue right now in the state of Utah relates to women and higher education. Many leaders and citizens within the state have expressed concern that Utah is below the national average when it comes to women enrolling in and completing postsecondary degrees. In collaboration with the Utah Women and Education Project, this page is designed to assist Utah women of all ages who are considering attending college for the first time or returning to college after a break. It will link you to a variety of resources that include programs, services, information, and assistance that can provide you with support in various ways—depending on your needs.
Higher Education Resources:
There are a number of things to take into consideration when attending college. This checklist presents ideas of what you need to consider and provides you with key words to search the 2-1-1 online database. For additional assistance, 2-1-1 telephone operators are available for advice and can link you with others who can provide in-depth information.
