United Way 2-1-1, formerly referred to as 2-1-1 Information and Referral, became a program of the United Way of Salt Lake on July 1, 2011. United Way of Salt Lake is dedicated to improving lives and building strong communities by uniting individuals and organizations with the passion, expertise, will, and resources needed to solve problems. The services offered by United Way 2-1-1 are an extension of the shared vision to create a vibrant future for communities throughout Utah by connecting people to services; in particular services that lead to better success in the areas of education, income, and health.
